Chuck E. Cheese's.....

It was bound to happen sooner or later.....  the inevitable visit to Chuck E Cheese's.  Brayden started out a little cautious as he does with all things.  However, once he got used to the noise level and the lights he was totally on board.  I have a feeling we will be going back soon.... and OFTEN.

Port A 2014

It's been well over a year since we visited Port A. We hated selling our condo but my mom was ready to retire and didn't want to be tied to the monthly payment. We had just moved into a much bigger home and Chad was contemplating a job  change so we didn't want to assume the entire loan at that time. There were some other factors - like the constant noise from upstairs and the fact that it was a 2 bedroom. We still miss it but don't regret the decision to sell. You never know - we may buy another property down there in the future as an investment.

Brayden absolutely LOVED the beach. He had the time of his life - digging, swimming and playing. Ashley and Lizzie were a huge help and he loved playing with them. We were busy from morning until night!

Brayden Chronicles: Toot Hachine

The back story---this past week I went to the store w/out Bray and had promised to bring him a "haprize". One of the cheapest things I could find was a whoopie cushion for $1. I mean boys and toots go hand & hand so I thought it was a win! Notsomuch... When I got home I surprised him with his "haprize" by squeezing the whoopie cushion by his hiney as he was climbing over the couch. It was louder than expected. His reaction was one of terror - screaming & crying about the "scary toots"!! Needless to say the next 2 hours were spent trying to convince my 2 year old that toots weren't scary and we wouldn't use the "toot machine" again. At the end of the day he said "toots not scary- toots are nice." I thought we were in the clear. Fast forward to tonight. I hear him whimpering in his sleep. When I go in to check on him - he sits up half asleep & says "skerrrrry toooots..."  I know - I'm mother of the year....

Curly Que

This baby came out with quite a mix of our genes!  He's got the blue eyes & blonde hair but that hair is CURLY when it gets wet!  Cracks us up.  What a little stinker!

Kappa Sig Formal

Zach went to his first formal for his fraternity.  From what I can tell - he had a blast.

Guess what??????

LUB YOU LUB YOU LUB YOU!!!!!!!

Workin'

Brayden loves to spend time outside helping his daddy with yard work.  Mommy usually spends the time trying to capture it on camera.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from last weekend.

Our Little Valentine

Brayden took the healthy route and brought apple squeezes for his Valentine treats.

Bray helped Daddy make yummy chocolate lava cake!

Our sweet little Valentine playing after we got home from school.

Peanut in 3-D

Advances in technology have really come a long way in the last few years.  3-D sonograms weren't even available when I had Ash & Zach.  They were not great quality when I had Bray - but this time WOW.  We got a great look at the little peanut.   He looks a lot like Brayden did!  We are so excited to meet him!  9 more weeks!

The Asshole of the Forest

Do you see this?  It looks oh so sweet and pretty.  Innocent really.  But don't let this asshole fool you.

Because those cute little berries do this......

Which leads to days / weeks of misery for most of us that live around it.  That isn't smoke.  It's pollen.  It is evil, evil pollen.  It makes everyone deathly sick even if they don't typically have allergies.

For days I have been doing this...
Don't judge me.  I stole my son's humidifier because I was desperate.

Some say that if you take a spoon full of local honey a day it will help....but it takes 6 weeks.

I am currently browsing condos and homes for rent next January somewhere far away.  I think the family just might pack up and stay somewhere else next year for about a month.

Take THAT Asshole of the Forest.
